Миналата събота гледах за пореден път Vanilla Sky. А от десет дена постоянно си въртя саундтрака.

I've just watched the film Crash. In a fascinating way it shows how much harmful for the modern society can be the creating of prejudices and stereotypes . There were no absolutely positive or absolutely negative characters there. While watching I remembered having sometimes the same hasty prejudices towards some friend or unknown feiedns or individuals, which now made me feel embarassed and uncomfortable for some time ... Every character in the film had a good and a bad side, both created and affected by one's background. As it is in the real life, everyone's judgements and actions compose a unique mixture, determined by one's life so far. That kind of information will never lead to an absolutely unbiased position. And when sometimes two or more people find themselves on the opposite sides of an arguement or a conflict, most of the individuals will neither try to understand their opponent's postion, nor attempt to look at the whole situation from the other point of view. Instead of this, they "generalize" the problems and "categorize" the others. Which is definitely an easier way. But I'm sure it's not the best one. A little more tolerance and respect are always necessary.

Днес бях на сватба. И то целия ден. Event-a мина приятно.
A Love Song For Bobby Long, може би главно за да "запиша" още един гледан филм със Scarlett Johansson. Но не ми хареса особено.

I watched this magnificent animation on Sunday. The story is so obssessing. And the music is Daft Punk's album "Discovery". It was such a fascinating experience that I still remain speechless.

I feel so tired and sleepy every evening I decide to update it here, that in fact there are almost no posts recently.
I decided to go to the cinema on Sunday. It seemed a good way to handle depression and apathy that are overwhelming me these days. I was with Martina and we watched “Hide and seek”. She’s one of the people I see more and more rarely recently but it’s quite a fun going out with her. We should meet each other more often. As I should do with some other people. Before going inside the cinema we by chance came upon some other friends who were going to see the same movie. They even sat on the same row we did. The film was good, but it was lacking in something in order to become better :) Maybe I am just not used in seeing Robert De Niro in such a role.
After that the others managed to persuade me to go to McDonalds, where the Big Mack is not so big indeed. And we spent almost two hours in talking there.

A little more than 2 months remain until Star Wars: Episode 3 is released. Today the second trailer is expected on FOX TV during The O.C. series.
And here is the official poster. I like its old-school look :>

I have managed to change my sleeping habits. I have slept during the day and have been awake every night

I watched Solaris today. Yesterday I watched Million Dollar Hotel and I noticed that the same guy - Jeremy Davies - was playing in both of them. I haven't picked them intentionally because of him, so either that was just a coincidence, or just some Hollywood actors seem to appear from almost everywhere. Why do we keep watching their films then ... maybe because "everybody do it" and we don't want to lose them as a topic of discussion. I am sorry - maybe I had to put "I" instead of "we" in the previous sentence ...
Anyway I liked "Solaris". It gave me some strange feeling of melancholy and loneliness ... which is good to be seen in sci-fi movies. It is better than the usual stories of superheroes saving the world. Actually the film made me think a lot, but I am too sleepy now.

I watched Star Wars Episode 2 again 2 days ago. It gave me again that feeling that only star wars films do :> I have planned to buy the new Original Trilogy Pack on DVD. I will watch the films again and again while waiting for Episode 3 to come...
The other movie I watched was High Fidelity. It was interesting I think - with John Cusack, Tim Robbins and even Catherine Zita-Jones for a while. But there was a moment in the film that spoiled the good impressions I had in the beginning. They just used the world "Bulgarian" with some negative meaning ... I felt somehow ... insulted. Why do all those Americans there think of us as an old uncivilised tribe ... :((
